People do not realize the true impact. Even wearing a CGM all the time, it is easy to get wrapped up in what you are doing and ignore the signs. Your body gives them to you; you have to be present enough to notice.

True, and that is the thing. We have to actually become good at listening to and paying attention.

Absolutely. That's an important topic!

The brain needs glucose's energy to function but it can't produce it, so it depends on blood sugar to get it. To know the signs of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) described in your text, one can correct it by eating, before they faint. And that's why a restrictive ketogenic diet with only protein and no carbohydrates isn't a good idea. Thanks. 🙏🤍

Exactly. And the difficult part is that we can often get caught up in our heads when the solution is often very physical. It seems like moments of hypoglycemia is such an overlooked stressor for many of us. 🤍
